How to use it
- 1
Paste your text. At least a paragraph. Long documents are split into parts automatically.
- 2
Choose a length. Short gives two or three sentences; long keeps more detail. Tick bullet points for a scannable list.
- 3
Summarize and copy. The first run downloads the AI model (about 300 MB, once). After that it's quick.

What kind of text works best
The model (DistilBART, trained on news articles) is best with factual writing: news, reports, blog posts, essays and meeting transcripts. It picks out and rephrases the most important sentences. It's less suited to fiction, poetry, code or very short text.
Check before you rely on it
Like every AI summarizer, it can occasionally leave out something important or merge two facts. For anything that matters (contracts, medical or legal text), use the summary as a guide and check the original.
Private by design
Many summarizers send your text to an AI company's servers. This one runs the model in your browser, so confidential documents never leave your device.
Questions
Is there a word limit?
No hard limit. Long text is split into chunks, summarized, then combined. Very long documents take longer.
Which languages does it support?
English. For other languages, translate first with our AI translator.
Why is the first run slow?
The model is about 300 MB and downloads once. After that it loads from your browser's cache.

No sign-up is needed.
