Who's behind the site
Admin. The FreeAIToolsGuide admin builds every tool on this site and tests each one, along with the free plans of popular AI apps, before it goes live.
What we build
Every tool on this site runs inside your web browser. AI features use open-source models (such as Whisper for speech, MODNet for background removal and Kokoro for voices) that download to your device once and then run locally. That's why there's no sign-up, no daily limit and no upload: your files never reach our servers.
How we test
- Each tool page says which open-source model or library it uses and what it's not good at.
- Free-plan profiles of other AI apps are checked against the company's own pricing and help pages, and dated. We sign up for the free plan and use it for a real task before writing our notes.
- When a free plan changes, we update the page and the date.
How the site is funded
The site may show ads to cover costs. Ads never change what we say about a tool. If we ever use affiliate links, we'll label them next to the link.
