JPG or PNG?
JPG makes smaller files and is right for most documents with photos. PNG keeps text perfectly crisp and is better for diagrams and line art, but files are larger.
How it works
Pages are drawn with PDF.js, Mozilla's open-source PDF engine (the same one Firefox uses), right in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded.
Questions
What resolution should I choose?
150 dpi for screens and sharing, 300 dpi for printing.
Is there a page limit?
No, but very long PDFs at 300 dpi use a lot of memory. Try 150 dpi on phones.
Is it free with no sign-up?
Yes.
Are my files uploaded?
No.
